Confirmant son vote du premier tour, le département de l'Essonne a choisi François Hollande comme prochain président de la république.
Le département de l'Essonne a donc confirmé les résultats du premier tour et a porté le candidat socialiste en tête du second tour, avec plus de 30 000 voix d'avance sur son rival de la droite républicaine.
